Walkabout with Artists
On April 14 my fellow artists and I invited friends to join us for a walkabout through the exhibition Inside Out at the Alliance Francaise in Cape Town. It was a fun morning. Larissa Matthews, Debbie Field, Anthea Czech, Heidi Benn and I presented our own works as well as that of the other artists who live too far to join us.
It is not easy to talk about art in a rational way, to explain motives when much of the process is rather intuition and emotion. But we really appreciated the opportunity to interest friends and strangers in our passion.
